Journey from the high Andes into the lush Yungas on a full-day adventure along Bolivia’s legendary Death Road, one of the country’s most dramatic mountain routes.

Leave La Paz and travel into the Cordillera Real, where high-altitude mountain scenery gradually gives way to waterfalls, cloud forest and tropical valleys. Follow the historic Yungas Road as it winds along steep mountainsides, with spectacular views across deep valleys and forest-covered slopes.

Choose to experience the route by mountain bike or on foot. Cycling guests can descend selected sections with an experienced guide and safety equipment, while walkers can explore sections at a slower pace, with more time to enjoy the scenery and viewpoints.

After completing the route, relax and enjoy the warmer landscapes of the Yungas before travelling back to La Paz in the evening.
